Service Description
Our next rabbit processing workshop June 27th, 2026. Brad and Laura team up to give you hands-on experience from start to finish. Your ENROLLMENT INCLUDES A RABBIT that you process and our favorite KNIFE for processing rabbits. We will go over the different methods of dispatching rabbits, including the pros and cons of each. We will walk you through step-by-step on how to dress the rabbit. Laura goes over quartering your rabbit for freezing and easy cooking. This workshop will take place outside near the lower-level garage at our house. This class is limited to 5 people/couples. We highly recommend a Raising Rabbits Workshop (or bunny experience) before attending this one, as we will not cover the basics of rabbit care. If you attend both "Raising Rabbits" (or a private experience) and "Processing Rabbits" you qualify for a breeding trio at a discounted rate. Please let us know if this is something you'd like. Couple's price includes ONE rabbit, ONE knife, and hands-on experience for both. The 18 and under participant is for kids/youth attending with a parent who would like to participate in hands-on learning. This ticket does not include a knife or a rabbit. This event is non-refundable due to the attendee's cancellation. If the host has to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance, you will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy
Once a workshop has been purchased, it is non-refundable. If you find you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member. Just notify Cox Homestead of the change. If Cox Homestead needs to cancel or change the class you will be notified and refunded if necessary.
